SDFF 2022 Environmental Stewardship Forum

A Post-Screening Discussion of
Reflection: a walk with water

This discussion panel was filmed on March 20 at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, following a screening of Reflection: a walk with water (dir. Emmet Brennan, 2021). The film confronts current environmental and systematic troubles by examining Los Angeles and other parts of California that are bellwethers for the future. Reflection is both a personal meditation on water as well as a practical road map for positive change. The stewardship forum picks up on the documentary’s themes and includes panelists who were featured in the film and are considered pioneers and leaders in their fields of interest. California and Sonoma County policy makers were also in attendance as invited guests to spur a focused discussion.
