More than I Want To Remember uses vibrant illustrations to help tell the story of child refugee Mugeni Ornella. At the tender age of 14, Ornella woke one night at her family home in the Congo to sounds of bombs. As her family scatters to forests to save themselves, she found herself alone and set out on a solo journey, crossing continents, determined to reunite with her loved ones and to lift up the Banyamulenge people.
